Those who ascribe ignorance of God Almighty through prayer and worship to those deeds. The objective is to seek their intercession with Allah. Because they think that God and the righteous people will love it. As Allah says
ويعبدون من دون الله ما لا يضرهم ولا ينفعهم ويقولون هؤلاء شفعاؤنا عند الله
"And they worship other than Allah that which can not bring kemudharatan to them and not (also) benefit. And they said, "They are intercessors to us on the sight of Allah" (Yunus: 18)
والذين اتخذوا من دونه أولياء ما نعبدهم إلا ليقربونا إلى الله زلفى
"And those who take protectors other than Allah (say), 'We do not worship them only that they get closer to God with us in close enough'" (Az-Zumar: 3)
And this is the biggest case, the Messenger of Allah has menyelisihi them. Then he saw to come with the mission of al-hearted (monotheism). And reported that sincerity was the teachings of Allah which Allah has sent all His apostles with him. And it's not going to be accepted practice, but from a sincere one. And whoever is doing something that they (ignorant people) think is good, truly Allah has forbidden Paradise for him and make hell as a place of residence.
It is a matter which causes people divided into two groups, namely the believers and infidels. From this place of hostility and karenanyalah jihad is prescribed, as Allah Almighty says,
وقاتلوهم حتى لا تكون فتنة ويكون الدين كله لله
"And fight them until there is no fitnah (kesyirikan) and the religion is entirely only for Allah" (Al-Anfaal: 39)
